One child. Endless possibilities.
Imagine waking up in a strange bed and being surrounded by strangers all day, not knowing whether you will ever live with your family again. This is how children in foster care feel; they wonder whether they will ever again live in a safe and familiar home.
If you care about the future of our children and can volunteer 3 to 5 hours a week, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Santa Cruz County needs your help. CASA seeks volunteers to provide support, guidance and a powerful voice in court for children who have been removed from their homes because they were victims of abuse or neglect.
To learn more about becoming a volunteer advocate attend an informational orientation:
- North County Orientations are held 5:30–7 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month.
- South County Orientations are held 5:30-7p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at the CASA House.
