The play is called "Hechos Guadalupanos" and is about how the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to the Mexican native, Juan Diego. This Mexican origin story is adapted and directed by Adrian Torres. The Virgin of Guadalupe is traditionally celebrated on the 12th of December and an integral part of holiday traditions at this time of year. This play, which includes passionate actors, lighting and special effects, is a wonderful example of local art and culture.
The play is being held at St. Patrick's Church and is free. Confirmed performance dates are: Friday December 7, 8pm. Saturday December 8, 8:30pm. Tuesday December 11, 7pm. Wednesday, December 12, 8pm. Show up early!
