FOOTLOOSE - The Musical

San Lorenzo Valley High School and Mountain Community Theater proudly present FOOTLOOSE - The Musical!  Screenplay written by Dean Pitchford, music and lyrics by Dean Pitchford and Tom Snow.

The exuberant cast of thirty-four talented teenagers will have you dancing in your seats to the Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score, augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage, featuring such hits as "Let's Hear It for the Boys," "Almost Paradise," and the hit title song by Kenny Loggins.

Based on the original hit movie, this high octane rock musical tells the story of Ren, a restless city boys who moves to a small town where dancing has been banned by the local Reverend, in response to a tragedy involving the local youth.  With quite a few tongue-in-cheek nods to the campy 80s era, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind.
