Volunteer Opportunity:
Volunteers are a vital component to the agency’s ability to give survivors the support they need to heal. We are looking for males and females over the age of 18 who want to make a difference in their community.
Volunteers will receive 65 hours of in depth training to become a state certified Peer Counselor in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Upon completion of the training, volunteers are asked to complete a one-year service commitment to the agency at a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Our next training will begin October 12, 2013. This rewarding experience will give you the chance to meet new people, while becoming a part of this life changing movement
To be a part of this experience, please call Rocio Camargo at 831-288-2143 or via email at rocio@wcs-ddm.org.
Or visit www.wcs-ddm.org/volunteer to download an application. Deadline to apply is September 27th!
