Pajaro Rescue Mission Marks 50 years

The homeless shelter provides more than just a bed and a hot meal.

The celebrated 50 years of service to the community with an event Saturday afternoon.

The shelter, which serves dozens of men, is planning to expand as need for homelesses services in Watsonville grows. .

The men and staff their put on a wonderful event with good food and entertainment. Along with Police Chief Manny Solano, was Assemblyman Luis Alejo, Watsonville City Manager Carlos Palacios and Monterey County Supervisor Lou Calcagno. Watsonville City Council members Lowell Hurst and Daniel Dodge were also present. Teen Challenge/Pajaro Rescue Mission do so much here in our community; what a great organization.
