Police Blotter: Meth Possession and Felony Warrants

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

6:42 p.m. Juan Diego Quiroz, 31, was contacted during a traffic stop on W Fifth Ave and Walker Street. He was found to have a warrant out of Monterey County and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

1:30 p.m. Unknown suspects entered a parked vehicle on the 100 block of Carr St and removed items from the inside. There was no witness or suspect information.

10:55 a.m. Ronald Rene Ruiz, 36, was stopped while driving his pick-up for failing to comply with a red light traffic signal on the 400 block of Holohan Rd. His driver’s license was suspended and he had a confirmed felony warrant for his arrest. He was booked into County Jail.
