Watsonville's Nature Center focuses on the wetlands in the area. It aims to educate the public and to promote conservation, and it has many volunteering opportunities.

Every Sunday at 1:30 p.m., there's a free guided tour of the wetlands and its inhabitants. 

During this tour you are likely to see the great blue heron, the cinnamon teal duck, as well as the muskrat. This is a great tour for families and anyone interested in the conservation of the Watsonville Wetlands.
