2nd Annual Monterey Bay Greenhouse Growers Open House

The Monterey Bay Greenhouse Growers are proud to present the 2nd Annual Monterey Bay Greenhouse Open House on Saturday, June 18, 2011.  Participating farms will be opening their doors to the public and offering family friendly tours and activities between 9 am and 4 pm that day.

This one-day event will include several local nurseries and provide the public an opportunity to meet with local farmers and learn about the types of flowers, plants and produce that are grown locally.  Farms will also make their products available to the public for purchase with proceeds donated to local area non-profits.  Last year's inaugural event hosted over 600 attendees and the grower participants donated over $5,000 to local area non-profits and created a sense of community that was worth repeating!
