Join us on this National Day of Service to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and share hopeful visions for a peaceful Santa Cruz community.
Your "9/11 Projects For Peace" station will be located @ St. Patrick's Church in Watsonville. At the station, you can record short messages of gratitude to local first responders and decorate mixed media tiles that share your vision for a peaceful Santa Cruz community. We hope to gather over 200 peace tiles from three "Projects for Peace" stations across the county to assemble in a traveling peacetile mural installation that will inspire civic engagement and actions to create greater unity and peace. Be sure to make it out on Sunday, 9/11. We need you voice and vision to make it happen!
