Americana Songwriters Jim Lewin and Scott Musick at the Corralitos Cultural Center

Original songs from two of Americana's top sidemen, Jim Lewin and Scott Musick, who also work with Kris Kristofferson, Elvis Costello, Todd Snider, Great American Taxi and others.

Jim and Scott are no strangers to local audiences: Jim has been a member of Santa Cruz bluegrass staple Harmony Grits for nearly twenty years. He plays regularly with Lacy J. Dalton. And if you're a KPIG listener, you've likely heard his song "Olden Days" off the new Great American Taxi CD "Paradise Lost".

Scott hails from Oklahoma these days, but he was Santa Cruz based back in the '80s and '90s. Scott helped form The Call, who had 10 chart-topping records.

Though much of their "day jobs" are as side and session players, Jim and Scott are both fine songwriters. This very special night in Corralitos will feature their own songs, as well as covers from some of the greats they've worked with.

This show runs 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Suggested donation (sliding scale) is $10-$20. Reserve  your seats by sending an email to michael@michaelgaither.com.
