Day on the Farm

The Agricultural History Project invites you to the 10th annual Day on the Farm Saturday June 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. located at the entrance to the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville.  Bring the whole family!  Admission is free, donations are appreciated.

Kids will love seeing the ice cream making, butter churning, cheese making, candle making, chickens, dairy goats, sheep, rabbits, and a cow.  A team of Clydesdale draft horses will be giving hayrides between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. — right after they’re finished mowing the hay at 10:00 a.m.

A tractor rodeo, testing your ability to drive and operate at tractor, is at 1:00 p.m. with a first place trophy and second and third place ribbons.
