Corralitos Community Church's choir will perform “The Story of Easter,” an Easter musical with singing and narration telling the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday.
Performances will be Sunday, April 8, 2012, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will be a reception in between the services. Corralitos Community Church is located at 26 Browns Valley Rd. in Corralitos.

Songs to be performed include Let the People Sing Hosanna! By Victor C. Johnson, Mercy Said No, by Dave Clark, and He Forgot, by Joseph Habedank, as well as other original and traditional Easter praise songs. The choir will be led by Dan Wilkins, music minister at Corralitos Community Church, who is now in his 23rd year of serving as choir director.
A longstanding local tradition, Corralitos Community Church choir performs holiday musicals for the greater Watsonville and Aptos communities each Easter and Christmas. A member of the Free Methodist denomination, Corralitos Community Church was established in Corralitos in 1885. Worship and service were carried out, for many decades, from 154 Browns Valley Rd., the still-standing
original church building, built around 1889. The sanctuary at the current location, 26 Browns Valley Rd., was dedicated in 1967.
