Get Out in Watsonville: A fundraiser, Durbin Day, and Latin dancing

A fundraiser for a heart transplant patient, Durbin Day in Santa Cruz, a city councilwoman gives inside perspectives, shopping at the Farmers Market and a night of Latin dancing are our suggestions to Get Out this weekend.

Where/When: , 1105 S Green Valley Rd, Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Why Go: This is a pancake breakfast with a purpose—to raise funds for Patrick Carroll who is waiting for a heart transplant. Carroll, 35, is a Watsonville resident, husband and father of two who is also a Monster Trucks fan. Help Carroll and his family raise the money they will need for his post-transplant care.
