Why Go: This event will honor local residents who lost their lives through gang and street violence. A peace ceremony will begin at noon at City Plaza. Community leaders and families who violence victims will be addressing the crowd. It will be followed by a march at 1 p.m. through Watsonville's streets.

Why Go: Mi Casa is an annual exhibit inspired by Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a traditional Mexican holiday in which people celebrate their ancestors and those who have passed away by constructing altars (ofrendas) in their homes to remember the dead. Since 1996, PVAC has been inviting the community into our “home” to build an altar to remember and celebrate those who they have lost.
