Why Go: Remember Cesar Chavez with an evening of music, performance and culture that celebrates Cesar Chavez' life. During the evening, seven young people will be recognized for the work they do that exemplifies the values promoted by Chavez.

Why Go: If you're a teen, this is a cool place to hang with your friends in a good environment. Come chill and see what fun you can have here this Saturday night And if you are the parent, you know your teen is in safe and supervised place—and still having fun.

Why Go: The Watsonville Buddhist Temple promises you a delicious event—and all the pancakes you can eat.

Where/When: Mount Madonna School, 491 Summit Rd. Monday, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Why Go: This is a chance to tour the facility at Mount Madonna and see if the school is right for your students. Tours will leave from the school library and break into small groups. Mount Madonna is accepting students at all grade levels, kindergarten through 12th grade. Mount Madonna has programs of financial assistance.

Why Go: Regular meeting of the Watsonville Anime Club. This time the group will watch Kaze no Stigma! The Anime Club is open to students in grades five to 12, but if you are under 13, you will need a signed permission form.
