Hanamatsuri means Spring Flower Festival, and it was celebrated last Saturday at the . On this day, the Temple celebrates the birth of Buddha. Flowers are a major element in this festival.

There was amazing entertainment for families. The drumming and singing was beautiful. There was hot tea served as well as traditional Japanese food for everyone. There was also a beautiful bonzi tree that was more than 500 years old!

This was a fun festival to celebrate the birth of Buddha.
