This event will honor local residents who lost their lives through gang and street violence. A peace ceremony will begin at noon at City Plaza. Community leaders and families who violence victims will be addressing the crowd. It will be followed by a march at 1 p.m. through Watsonville's streets.
Families who lost a loved one to violence are invited to set up an alter before the event at noon. The event is organized mostly by Watsonville community members and youth.
