Get Your Pick of Christmas Trees

Cut your own holiday tree out in the country or stop by a lot in town.

It may not feel like winter, but it's Dec. 1 and Christmas is just around the corner. A Christmas tree and some holiday decorations are will help get your family in a festive spirit.

There are several options for Christmas trees in and around Watsonville.

Cut your own tree at Warren Church Christmas Tree Farm,  470 Hidden Valley Rd. in Royal Oaks. The farm is open 12-4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends. The tree options include $21 cedars, $31 Monterey and Italian stone pines and $49 for a Doug fir, white fir or any other tree. But don't expect a whole winter wonderland experience—the tree farm is a "cut and run" place, according to its website.
