Gas Prices in Watsonville as Low as $3.64

While gas prices have dipped in across the nation, they are a dollar higher than Fourth of July weekend last year.

Gas prices in Watsonville this week ranged from $3.64 to $4.05, according to Gasbuddy.com. That places them above the national average of $3.57, and about in sync with the California average of $3.77.

On the lower end of the spectrum, Gomez Gas on 153 Main Street and Riverside offers gas today for $3.64. The highest price of $4.05 goes to the 76 on 676 East Lake Ave and Manor Road.

While gas prices have dipped nationwide, they still remain a dollar higher than last year’s average of $2.75, according to the AAA. Between Thursday and Monday, 39 million people will travel 50 miles or more from home, according to AAA Independence Day forecast. There is a 2.5 percent decrease in the number of will drive, but a nine percent increase in those who will fly.
