A new ACE Hardware opened on Freedom Boulevard earlier this summer.
The store is in the old Furniture City building at 1820 Freedom Blvd. It's the second ACE store in Watsonville. The other is downtown on Main Street.
The Santa Cruz Sentinel reported the shop is owned by two brothers, who operate four other ACE locations. They are planning a grand opening for later this month.
Grow In Watsonville's Facebook page, which is managed by the city's Economic Development Department, was promoting the new ACE location on Tuesday.
Store hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day but Sunday, when the shop closes at 7 p.m. Phone number: 831-724-4740.
