Readers' Choice: Best Florist in Watsonville

Flower shops ... we all frequent them to buy special flowers and other merchandise to show our loved ones that we care.

Whether we're buying them for our significant others, or to congratulate someone for their graduation, a special performance or achievement, or to pay our respects for those who have died, we all need them throughout the year.

In the past, Watsonville was known as the cut flower capitol of the world. Those days have passed, but beautiful roses, orchids and other flowers are still grown in the Pajaro Valley and sold locally.

Our Readers' Choice poll this week hopes your votes will help us identify the best places in and around Watsonville to buy those special flowers and beautiful arrangements.

Voting is open until 9 a.m. Friday with the winner announced at noon and the lucky business receiving a "Readers' Choice 2012" certificate.
