The family-owned winery in the Soquel hills makes Estate Merlot, Estate Pinot Noir, Estate Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Rhone Blend, Old Vine Zinfandel, Vintage Port, Mouvedre and Grenache wines.
Hunter Hill received 175 votes and four comments.
"Hunter Hill has a fantastic site of old growth vineyards," reader Barbara Burkhart wrote. "Their old growth Zinfadel is heavenly & their recent Syrah is delicious!"
In second, in Watsonville got 160 votes and two comments.
Reader David Perez said he loves Alfaro.
"Their Pinot Noir rocks, and I consider it some of the best in the county," Perez wrote. "All of their other wines are fabulous as well. They have a great tasting room with a beautiful view of the vineyards."
Soquel Vineyards received 70 votes and got 57.
