The Watsonville-based company earned LEED Gold certification for its new facility.

Nordic Naturals earned LEED Gold certification for its new Watsonville facility, the company announced this month.

The company is the first NSF-certified supplier and marketer of dietary supplements in the country that has built a facility to these high environmental standards. 

The brightly colored Nordic fishing village-themed buildings sit amid 108,500 square feet of undisturbed wildlife habitat past the airport on the northwest edge of the city.
