What Should Go Here: Beach Street Warehouse

Next door, a new biodiesel producer will open shop this fall.

There are a lot of "For Lease" and "For Sale" signs in the industrial area of Watsonville.

But one vacant property, at 860 W. Beach St., will morph from an old mechanic shop to a biodiesel manufacturer.

This old warehouse is next door. We're getting a biofuel producer; what symbiotic business could be put in adjacent to it?

I vote for a nice microbrew restaurant and pub. Watsonville doesn't have anything like that as far as I know.

Love the microbrewery idea! Keep it classy! An electronics manufacturing plant to bring in low education - high pay jobs would be a great asset to the community as well.
