Cocaine Dealer Sent to Prison

The 23-year-old man was arrested by Watsonville police in 2010.

A drug-dealing gang member is going back to prison, the District Attorney's Office reported Thursday.

Jeronimo "Sinbad" Carranza, 23, pleaded guilty last summer to charges stemming from a cocaine bust in July 2010, not long after he got out of prison for a prior cocaine-selling conviction, according to the D.A.'s Office.

“He’s been caught twice for selling dope," said Assistant District Attorney Alex Byers, who prosecuted the case.
