House Hunt: Watsonville
It's slim pickings for open houses in Watsonville this weekend.
With school already started, families are (hopefully) settled into their home and no longer shopping around for a new casa.
The number of open houses in South County this weekend seems to reflect that.
- 165 Spruce Dr.: $165,000. The 2-bedroom, 1-bath house is a great deal. It's also in a senior community, meaning not everyone is eligible to buy this place and move in. If you're in the retiree sect, check out the home during the open house, 1-4 p.m. Saturday.
- 434 Amesti Rd: $429,000. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath house sold for almost $100,000 more back in 2002. The open house is 1-4 p.m. Saturday for this home off Green Valley Road outside of town.
- 101 Shell Rd.: $535,000. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo—it's No. 72 in the complex near Sunset State Beach—has been on the market for awhile. If you haven't look at it yet, swing by from 1-4 p.m. Saturday.
