Marine Mammal Rescue Presentation
On Thursday, Jan. 10, the Watsonville Wetlands Watch is hosting the Marine Mammal Center’s Field Manager Sue Andrews who will talk about the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, ill, or abandoned marine mammals. Sue will give us an overview of central coast marine mammals and a detailed look at the species they rescue. Specimens will be available to handle.
From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Fitz Wetlands Educational Resource Center in Watsonville. Click for map/directions. The presentation is free, but you must reserve a seat by contacting Kathy Fieberling, 831-345-1226, kathy@watsonvillewetlandswatch.org.
