Printmaking On and Off the Wall: The MPC Printmakers

Printmaking On and Off the Wall, an exciting exhibit of contemporary fine art prints, print-installations, sculptures, handmade books, scrolls, and more by the MPC Printmakers, will be at the Pajaro Valley Arts Council, 37 Sudden St., Watsonville, March 5–April 19, 2014.

With images ranging from the abstract to the familiar, fifty artists explore printmaking in 2 and 3 dimensions. Featured work includes rarely exhibited print installations and 3-dimensional sculptural print objects. All artworks feature elements created using fine art printmaking techniques such as etching, woodcut, screenprint, and monotype.

All are welcome to meet the artists at the opening reception, Sunday, March 23, 2:00-4:00PM.  Regular gallery hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 11:00AM-4:00 PM. Free admission. ADA accessible.

The MPC Printmakers is an association of established and emerging artists supported by the Monterey Peninsula College Inter-Club Council. The club provides a forum where printmaking ideas can be shared with one another and the larger community. Membership is free and open to all fine art printmakers.
