Volunteers are a vital component to the agency’s ability to give domestic violence and sexual assault survivors the support they need to heal. We are looking for males and females over the age of 18 who want to make a difference in their community.

Volunteers will receive 65 hours of in depth training to become a state certified Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Peer Counselor. Upon completion of the training, volunteers are asked to commit to twelve hours of volunteer work per month for one year.

Our next training will begin on Saturday, October 11th and will take place every Saturday at our Santa Cruz office, 1685 Commercial Way, Santa Cruz through November 15th. This rewarding experience will give participants the chance to meet new people, while becoming a part of this life changing movement.
