There will be a car wash fundraiser for the family of homicide victim Brandon Gil at Taqueria Mi Tierra, in the Kmart shopping center, on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Proceeds go to cover funeral expense for Gil, 21, who was fatally stabbed on March 31.
The car wash will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
There will be a second car wash Saturday at E's Ranch Milk, 1 Green Valley Ext., near Freedom Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Donations also can be made to Bay Federal Credit Union, Account name: Brandon Gil Fundraiser, Account No. 32028244.
