The community is invited to the plaza (Peck and Union streets) where the corner will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the the third annual Watsonville Snow Day, 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
The admission cost into the snow area will be one can or a non-perishable food item that will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Tickets will be available on a first-come basis beginning at 3 pm. The Salvation Army will also have their red kettle to collect donations.
Santa will be on hand for a photo opportunity, the city of Watsonville Parks and Community Services will be hosting an arts and crafts area and Green Valley Cinemas will be serving complimentary hot chocolate.

This unique event is spearheaded by the goodwill and generosity of June and Rogelio Ponce and other donors. The city of Watsonville is organizing and participating in the event as well.
