What is the Watsonville Business Walk?

Next week, on Wednesday, Sept. 28, the city of Watsonville and the Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will be hosting the Second Annual Watsonville Business Walk. 

This event is simple: A group of volunteers walks around town, visits businesses of all sizes, asks them a few questions and then we get together after for pizza, chicken wings and to talk about what we learned.

The questions are simple: How's business, what are your plans for the next year or two and how can the City and Chamber help you suceed. Of course, these questions result in a lot of answers and occasionally we are able to spot a struggling business and help them—and we frequently get information that help us improve our service to the business community. 

The event last year had over 40 volunteers and and we visited over 130 businesses. It is important that the City and Chamber let our business community know that we value their contributions and that we care about them—and it is important to understand what the Chamber and City can do to serve them better.  We understand how important our business community is in Watsonville—and we are lucky to have the diverse mix of incredible companies that we have. This event gives us - and interested participants - the opportunity to thank our amazing businesses for all they do to make Watsonville a great place.
