Watsonville Death Notices: Aug. 8-14

David Gardiner: The 99-year-old died at home on Aug. 6. He had worked for Granite Rock.

Carol Hamilton: The Watsonville native died in Vacaville on Aug. 6 at age 80.

Carmen Navaro: The Watsonville resident died Aug. 11 in San Juan Bautista at age 87.

Juan Castillo Soto: The Salvation Army employeed died unexpectedly Aug. 7 at the age 50.

Vicenta Tita Torres: A native of Mexico, Torres lived in Watsonville for decades. She died Aug. 3 at age 78.

Eva Catalina Vasquez-Camacho: She worked to organize Central Coast strawberry workers in the late 1990s and went on to become a court interpreter in the Bakerfield area. She died of cancer Aug. 14. She was 43.
