Watsonville Death Notices: Coach, Airman, Educator

We recognize the following people with ties to Watsonville who are recently deceased.

Daniel Robert Leon: Born in Watsonville, Leon was an avid athlete as a youth and made a career managing teams at the City Beach Volleyball Club. He earned a B.S. in applied mathematics at San Jose State University. He passed away on June 20 at the age of 32 and is survived by his wife of nearly three years, Leahi Hall.

Noel V. Page: Born in 1937, Page played track and football at Watsonville High School, and later served in the Air Force.

Bettie Westover Watters: Watters was a longtime resident of Los Gatos who made a her career at Los Gatos High School. She married Hilton Louis Watters of Watsonville in 1946, and they went on to have two daughters and four grandchildren. She died on June 25 at the age of 87.
