Agree with all of you. I said this and Evie replied that the patch doesn't do that. Well I was not nice when I called Alejo little Caesar either, I guess. There are many things that could be posted. Like the salaries of some of the UPPER city employees. Gezz.. Carlos in this little town makes more money than the Governor. And why isn't the city attorney's salary listed? How about where is the business license for the Brown Beret? Also do the BB get permits for the dances with live music they have? What is their tax status? Just some questions that I have not been able to get answers for. Randy.. have a wonderful Saturday ps.. is the patch running out of stories or reporters?

Randy: Great question about our city attorney's, pay which is omitted from reports of city employee salaries because he's paid by the hour instead of with a set salary. As often as Watsonville gets sued, that could be a tidy sum. We already know City Manager Carlos Palacios has a salary higher than that of Governor Brown. That leaves the question whether City Attorney Alan Smith is paid more than state Attorney General Kamala Harris.

@ Steve Bankhead... Regarding paid by the hour, everytime a "big" case comes up the city hires outside attorneys. Soooooo why pay him big bucks.

You can post something as long as its anti-white. Ever notice how others can use the most vile language and extreem racist remarks but when someone makes a simple observation about the weight of a local hidpanic politician the story is pulled? The patch is a joke.

@Kile Filmore - More than a few of us have noticed this and pointed it out. We should be flagging those comments as inappropriate and following up with an email to Eve Pearlman. Watsonville certainly has a number of "hot button issues" that we should be blogging about on a regular basis.
