AB 1795 (Alejo) Cities: city council: vacancy is headed to the Senate Floor for a vote. The bill was amended in Committee and will not head to the floor until it is amended. The bill could come up for a vote before the Legislature’s summer recess in July or it might be heard in August.

As soon as the bill is amended, you should contact your Senator and express your strong opposition to this bill at your earliest opportunity.
