Mirimar, Del Monte, and Woolworth's Restaurants

I feel so fortunate to have found the WatsonvillePatch. I lived in Freedom when I was a little boy. My stepfather owned the bowling alley when it was downtown across the street from the Plaza. I'd love to hear more details about the restaurants. I'm looking for street addresses, favorite meals on menus,and favorite stories.  Any one who remembers the bowling alley gets a gold star. I'd love to hear stories about the bowling alley. It only had eight lanes, and the pins had to be manually set. Does anyone remember the owner, Wally Honeycutt? Does anyone remember the lunch counter there? Any and all things shared will be special to me.
