Please read constituents of Watsonville

Any one who would like an informed, somewhat sarcastic but realistic take on the Watsonville governments antics, please Google "Watsonville Fishing Report"! Oh how I have missed Emilio Martinez, and the transparency that he brought to the table! This website was brought to my attention recently and let me tell you, he does not disappoint. One of the bits of information that I was not privy to was the annual pension of our former police chief, Terry Medina. Now, I have nothing against Mr. Medina and have always appreciated his work and his personal interest in this town, but the ludicrous amount of money that he is raking in as a retired citizen is beyond comprehension. What about spreading it around a little? This, along with many examples on Mr Martinez's fishing report which I was previously aware of, are why I loudly proclaim "NO" on G. Considering that the city council, who is in charge of the disbursement of   monies, is already inept in their choice of expenditures, why should we give them more to freely spend? Accountability people! Wake up! Let's not even begin to talk about Alejo and his wife. Actually, let's! This town is full of his ardent supporters. How many of these people would be voting for him if his government expenditures were being printed on a placard and placed in front of homes for public viewing? Many of these families are struggling with maintaining a home and feeding their families, while he and his wife are throwing birthday parties with the Federal governments funds. Please..... This screams incorrect use of funds. He continues to use our town as his platform to promote his true agenda and we allow it. Is anyone in this town willing to stand up against him and his politics? If not, then continue to pay your taxes and watch as his friends and family in council spend your money as freely as they choose, and on whatsoever they choose. I guess our town does have some deep pockets and this is one time that I am glad mine are not. He and his cronies won't be getting much of mine.
