The Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is having their 51st Annual Awards Dinner "Mardi Gras style" at 5:30 pm on Saturday, January 26, 2013, and it promises to be an event to remember. The Crosetti Building at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds will be transformed and you will be swept away to New Orleans!
This year's recipients are extremely deserving individuals, businesses and organizations. Man of the Year is Willy Elliott McCrea of Second Harvest Food Bank, Woman of the Year is Georgeann Cowles Eiskamp, Business of the Year is S. Martinelli & Co., Event of the Year is The 2012 Santa Cruz County Fair, Organization of the Year is The Pajaro Rescue Mission/Teen Challenge Monterey Bay, and Lifetime Achievement goes to Bruce Woolpert (posthumous). Each and every one of this year's recipients have contributed a tremendous amount of time and energy to making the Pajaro Valley a great community.
