Aptos Man Jailed on Child Molest Charges in Napa

The 26-year-old reportedly posed as a much younger male and allegedly molested three teenage boys.

A 26-year-old Santa Cruz County man was arrested at his home in Aptos on Wednesday on suspicion he sexually molested two 14-year-old Napa boys in separate relationships, according to a press release from the :

In March 2012, Napa County Sheriff’s Detectives received information that between January 2011 and February 2012, a suspect met two separate 14-year-old Napa boys through social networking web sites. The suspect then met each of the boys and ultimately engaged in a sexual relationship with each of the boys, lasting several months.

Information led Detectives to a third victim, who was 15 years old and lived in Elk Grove, at the time of (a) year-long sexual relationship that occurred in 2010.

The suspect was known by three different names: Ashton Nasif, Justin Hicks, and his real name, Justin Noel Lopez, 26 years old, out of Aptos, California. The suspect told victims that he was much younger than his 26 years.

On April 4, 2012 at 8:15 am, Napa Sheriff’s Office Detectives went to Aptos and arrested Lopez at his residence. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Department of Corrections.

Lopez was booked on multiple counts of several felonies, including:

Lewd Act with a Child

Oral Copulation

Sodomy

Investigators said they believe there may be more victims who have not come forward yet, according to the press release. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Napa County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau at (707) 253-4591.
