Feces and Eggs Paint Watsonville House and Car on April Fool's Day

Sometimes April Fool's jokes just go way too far. Such was the case for one man who had quite a pungent mess to clean up on Tuesday.

On April 2, a resident of Devon Court in Watsonville reported that his car and house had been vandalized in the previous 24 hours.

He said that sometime between 8 p.m. Monday and the next morning, someone had thrown eggs and smeared feces on his work van and on the front wall of his house, Deputy April Skalland said. The man also found used toilet paper strewn about the area near his car.

The victim's roommate said he heard a thump on the door around 2 a.m. and saw three or four people walking away from the house. It is unknown if they were related to the vandalism though, Skalland said.

There is no suspect information available in this case.
