Authorities pulled over a 21-year-old Watsonville man Wednesday night and seized a stolen rifle, Sgt. Stephan Fish reported.
Antonio Godinez was arrested just before 9 p.m. at Freedom Boulevard and Crestview Road.
Godinez reportedly had a suspended driver's license. Officers found the gun in the trunk of the car. It had been reported stolen from Hollister, according to Fish.
Godinez was arrested. His 17-year-old passenger was let go.
Fish said the gun seizure is the 12th this year by the county Gang Task Force.
