Gangster Arrested with Loaded Gun at Ms Donuts & Ice Cream

Manuel Cabazuela's rap sheet has been loaded with gang-related charges over the last nine months.

The Santa Cruz County Gang Task Force put a repeat offender behind bars Wednesday night with the arrest of Manuel Cabazuela in Watsonville.

Two officers contacted Cabazuela, 32, in the parking lot of Ms Donuts & Ice Cream around 5 p.m. Because he is on probation for a 2012 arrest and conviction for possession of a loaded stolen firearm by a felon, participation in a gang and assault with a deadly weapon, the officers attempted a compliance search on Cabazuela.

According to Sgt. Stegan Fish, Cabazuela was immediately resistant to the search and had to be wrestled to the ground. During the scuffle, Cabazuela threw a loaded handgun on the ground.
