Suspects Get Away After Shooting Into Occupied Home

Watsonville Police are still investigating Saturday night's shooting on Maranatha Drive

Multiple shots were fired at a house full of sleeping residents late Saturday night in Watsonville, police said. Officers were called to the first block of Maranatha Drive at 11:38 p.m. after shots were reportedly fired into an occupied home, police said.

The home was struck several times by gunfire, however no one in the house was injured. Victims and witnesses were not able to provide a suspect or vehicle description, according to police.

A search of the neighborhood did not turn up further information, police said. The incident is under investigation and it is unknown if the shooting was gang-related, according to police.
