Gunman Fires on House with Mother, Son Inside

The shooting is third this week; no one has been hurt.

A gunman fired on a Palm Avenue house while a woman and boy were home Thursday night, Watsonville police reported.

No one was injured in the shooting, which happened around 10:45 pm.

The gunman fired multiple shots at the house, on the 100 block of Palm Avenue. After, he sped away south on Sudden Street in gold sedan. Officers searched for him, but he wasn't found.

No word yet on if it's tied to recent gun violence in the city.

  • Monday, . The teens, ages 14, 18 and 19, were arrested and detectives have said the shooting was gang-motivated. The small-caliber believed to be used in the non-injury shooting was searching a field of thick brush that the youngest suspect had fled into.
