Italian Food Fundraiser To Support Watsonville PD

Tickets are on sale for "An Evening in Italy", held Feb. 16.

Want to support the Watsonville Police Department while indulging in delicious Italian food?

Look no further than “An Evening in Italy”, the Watsonville Police Assistance Fund’s second annual gala dinner and show on Feb. 16.

The dinner assists with budget shortages the department faces throughout the year, said board member Bill Neighbors in an email.

“The last two years the board had been able to send officers to gang schools, purchase a K9 dog and help with many other valuable tools,” Neighbors wrote. “One of the big fundraisers is this event. Please join us for a wonderful evening and help us continue to help raise funds to keep our city safe.”

Tickets are $125 each and include dinner, dancing, wine and “much, much more,” said Neighbors.
