Man Arrested for Possession of Narcotics and Stolen Property

Walter Olsen, 29, was arrested during a probation search on Thursday night.

Watsonville police arrested Walter Olsen, 29, on an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property and narcotics on Thursday night.

During a probation search, police uncovered a meth pipe and a slim jim, a tool commonly used to open locked vehicles, said Lt. David McCartney of the Watsonville Police Department.

After discovering the paraphernalia and burglary device, police arrested Olsen without incident and booked him into Santa Cruz County Jail at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, McCartney said.
