The seemingly random attack happened Monday night on Clifford Avenue.
Gang members shot a 19-year-old man several times Monday night, inflicting life-threatening injuries to him, Watsonville police reported.
The attack is the second gang-related shooting of a person out walking in Watsonville this month. A 15-year-old boy was accosted by gang members and shot May 13, a Sunday, as he walked on the 100 block of Miles Lane.
