A gang of young men attacked a 25-year-old man in Ramsay Park on Thursday evening, an assault Watsonville police say was gang-related.
The man was walking in the park around 6:20 p.m. when five to 10 people confronted him. They yelled gang slurs, and punched, kicked and stabbed him, police reported.
He was stabbed several times in the back, but police said the wounds were not life-threatening. He was flown to an out-of-county trauma for treatment.

The assailants ran away and weren't found. Detectives ask anyone with information about the attack to call the Investigations Bureau at 768-3350 or the Crime Tip Line at 768-3354.
