Molotov Cocktail Explodes In Driveway
A molotov cocktail explosion gives a Watsonville neighborhood a rude awakening.
A Molotov cocktail exploded in a driveway at a Watsonville home last week, according to police.
On Thursday at about 1:30 a.m., residents in the 100 block of Brennan Street woke up to an explosion, police said.
One resident looked out a bedroom and saw a burning mass in the driveway, police said. The fire was extinguished.

A property manager later called police when a neighbor brought a Molotov cocktail they had found on their property, police said.
Investigators believe the explosion was consistent with a Molotov cocktail. No suspect information was available, and no arrests have been made.
